In the last years of his life my father Fred suffered from dementia. As his principal carer I spent a lot of time with him, at first in his own home and then later in a residential care home. As a photographer and filmmaker I usually had a camera to hand. These images form part of a larger body of work about Fred which includes 'Dementia: it's a bit of a bugger!' an interactive computer based multimedia piece.
